Our exceptional team of multi-national, specialised lawyers and accountants bring together collective expertise and experience to offer bespoke solutions to individual clients . The accounting and auditing department is currently looking for a Senior Accountant to join its finance team.

Job Duties

• Prepares monthly management accounts in an accurate manner;
• Preparation of financial statements under GAPSME or IFRS;
• Manages income tax and VAT submissions;
• Liaises with banks, auditors, other service providers;
• Responsible for Balance Sheet line item reconciliations;  
• Assists in the audit field-work of the Group;
• Ensures that the day-to-day activities of the Finance Department are running smoothly;
• Liaises with the department Head;
• Ensures credibility by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts;
• Prepares timely monthly reports and monthly graphical reports of company and departmental performance;
• Maintains a professional approach at all times when representing the company with creditors, debtors, financial and legal institutions;
• Performs other duties, as may be reasonably assigned from time to time by senior management;
• Day to day administration of the accounting functions and procedures;  

Job Requirements

• Auditing experience will be considered an asset.
• Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgement and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
• 5 to 7 years of relevant working experience within corporate / business and/or financial services.
• Knowledge of SAGE accounting software
• Knowledge of payroll processing functions and procedures
• ACCA or ACA qualification
